The 2025 fundraiser is a big one as it marks 10 years since Kate was treated for cervical cancer.
So we’re focussing the fundraiser at the Fintech Festival on raising awareness of and supporting people facing male and gynae cancers. And I’ve picked two small and mighty charities to support with the funds we raise: The Eve Appeal and Orchid.
The five gynae cancers are: ovarian cancer, womb cancer, cervical cancer, vaginal cancer and vulval cancer.
The three male cancers are: prostate cancer, penile cancer, prostate cancer.
It’s extremely important to me that we support the small charities that can get overlooked by big events and companies – these are the ones where much more money goes directly into supporting to those who need it and a few hundred ££ genuinely makes all the difference.
As usual the main fundraising event is the FTT Fintech Festival in November and we’re bringing back the basketball challenge for a yet another year. It’s always a lot of fun and generates lots of attention – the best setting for fundraising.
